Techstack exists because every "best software" list on the internet reads like it was written by someone who never opened the app. We do the opposite: we use the tools, in real workflows, for long enough to form an opinion — then we write it down.

We recommend fewer tools, more carefully. If a category only has two great options, you'll see two. If the best answer is "don't use any of these," we'll say that too.
